Example: creating an invoice

In the following example we apply Word Link to the North wind database order form

to create an Invoice document.

Start the wizard from the toolbar

 
 

Generate the template with merge fields

Lay the template out as you like it and save. Now from the toolbar activate the
4TOPS Word template selection form

The invoice document is generated. If you used the add-in as part of 4TOPS Document Management, it will also store the document automatically in the right folder with the right document name.
