Mail Merge for Microsoft Access license types explained
On this page you will find licensing options available for Mail Merge for Microsoft Access.
Single user license / volume license
Applicability: Allows use of the full product per licensed user.
Cost: per developer, per Access version license.
The following volume licensing options are available:
- Team License: licenses up to 4 users
- Site License: licenses up to 10 users
- Enterprise license: A negotiated contract to match the requirements of large businesses. Contact sales for details.

- Definition Access version license
- Licensing is done by Access license. However not each of the older Access versions is counted as a seperate license. We count Access 2000/2002/2003 as one version license, Access 2007 as another.
Developer license
Applicability: Allows use of the full product per licensed developer. Allows distribution of the runtime as part of one or more application you have developed for individual customers (custom software).
Cost: per developer, per Access version license.
OEM/ISV license
Applicability: allows distribution of the
runtime as part of one or more standard applications you have developed
which are distributed to multiple customers.
Cost: the annual cost is based on
- number of sold licenses,
- maintenance fee.
Evidence concerning the number of licenses sold must be supplied yearly
to enable the OEM to verify the number of licenses that have been sold of
the application(s).

Runtime license
4TOPS Mail Merge for Microsoft Access provides a rich platform for developing Microsoft Access based document creation applications. To distribute those applications so that they run without requiring a full installation of 4TOPS Mail Merge for Microsoft Access, you must package and distribute your application with the runtime. The 4TOPS Mail Merge for Microsoft Access runtime is essentially a full version of 4TOPS Mail Merge for Microsoft Access, but with with featues for adding new Mail Merge processes or changing existing ones disabled. The runtime consists of the accessmailmerge#.mde library only where # stands for the Access version you have acquired a license. You will not be allowed to distribute the programs processdesigner.exe, templatedesigner.exe and htmleditor.exe. The runtime license is included with the developer license and the OEM/ISV license.
