You can remove the rows that play no role in your import because they don't transfer data = no Source field set. This can be useful to restrict what you see to only relevant info. Note that it is only wise to do so if you are convinced that the rows will not be used later on after all. In that case you would have extra work deleting the Destination Table and setting it up again.
On [Select Destination Table] tab, in the Transfer Pane:
A confirmation dialog appears 'You are about to delete .. record(s)'
The selected rows are removed from the Transfer Pane.
