4TOPS Search Assistant for Microsoft® Access

Do you spend a lot of time location records? In that case adding 4TOPS Search Assistant to your database will save you a lot of time.

	Speed Filter	Find records with values selected from a list (Products, Cities)
	Word Filter	Find records containing certain word combinations
	Filter Builder	Find records using criteria from different fields
	Filter Select	Re-apply saved searches from Filter Builder
	With Values Only	Select only those records that have values in selected columns
	Undo / Redo	Move back and forth when multiple filters are applied after each other

Speed Filter

The Speed Filter is handy in situations where you want to filter in just one field on one ore more values. Select the values from which you require records, and press OK. The active record set will now only contain records with the selected values.

Word Filter

Word filter lets you pick up record with fields containing words. A word is here anything which is between separators, e.g. 'Jean;Fritz' or ' Words in this Sentence'

In this example all records on products are returned which contain at least one of the selected words (OR).

Filter Builder

Depending on field type a list of applicable filter templates is shown. Selecting the ones related to your query adds the corresponding SQL code in the edit box.
