4TOPS Mail Merge to Microsoft Excel offers an easy and controlled way to export data from Microsoft Access® to Microsoft Excel. Mapping is done using named ranges, which are added automatically to the template and can be moved to the exact position you require.

Example: creating an invoice
In the following example we apply Mail Merge to Microsoft Excel to the North wind database order form to create an Invoice document.

| Generate access export to Excel template with merge fields |
Lay the template out as you like it and save. Now from the toolbar activate the 4TOPS Excel template selection form. If you added an Microsoft Excel chart changes to the chart layout will also be saved and reused! |
The invoice document is generated. If you used the add-in as part of 4TOPS Document Management, it will also store the document automatically in the right folder with the right document name. |
