Brief Description

4TOPS Excel Import Assistant is an add-in for Microsoft Access that enables you to import data from Excel in Access in a controlled way. Moving row after row through your Excel table(s) you can instantly fill in missing data or alter erroneous data before transferring them to your database. Note: the 64bits version is for Office 14 64 bits.

Instructions for use:

• After downloading the zip file you have to extract it. Inside you will find the Help file .chm and the Add-In: .mda or .accda
• 4TOPS Excel Import Assistant is an Access Add-In, so first you have to install it using the Add-In Manager.
• After installing you can start using the Add-In. With Access 2007/2010
  1. Open the database you want to import into
  2. On the ribbon, tab Database Tools, group Database Tools, click on Add-Ins.
   
  3. Start the Import Assistant from the ribbon, tab Database Tools, group Add-Ins, click on Add-Ins and select 4TOPS Excel Import Assistant.
• On Access 2000 - 2003 you start from menu > database tools > add-ins
• The best way to get acquinted with the software is combined use of tutorials in the help and the learning/test database: Download xlimtest.zip

The more informative way to use the demo is to manually start each demo import by following the tutorials in the help.
