Brief Description

4TOPS Excel Import Assistant is an add-in for Microsoft Access that enables you to import data from Excel in Access in a controlled way. Moving row after row through your Excel table(s) you can instantly fill in missing data or alter erroneous data before transferring them to your database.

Instructions for use:

With Access 2007
1. Open the database you want to import into
2. On the ribbon, tab Database Tools, group Database Tools, click on Add-Ins.
You will get the message that your database is now prepared
3. Start the Import Assistant from the ribbon, tab Add-Ins, group Custom Toolbars, click on New Excel Import.

Before you can use the demo database you need to activate the add-in in it:
1. open the demo database
2. menu: Tools > Add-ins > 4TOPS Excel Import Assistant.

The more informative way to use the demo is to manually start each demo import by following the tutorials in the help.

Tip: a safe and efficient way to try the add-in is to use it in a copy of your database. Alternatively, try it on our test database
